Riba Collection ‘Pike’

Description

Decorative fish sculpture cast in marble powder with a wooden base.
Its minimalist form is inspired by the famous sculptor Brancusi.

Handmade in our studio in Brooklyn NY.

I love this poetic description of ‘Pike’ sculpture written by my close relative:

“However it is a beautiful manifestation from left to right. Balance, but dynamic refinement. And flat at the back… I imagine the school of RIBAs washed on a sandy beach. The black pedestal from Kubrick’s movie immersed into the grayness of the Ocean raises the art to the Sky by one step… two more, and Zeppelin.”
